Don’t Fall for Scams

At Neighborhood Restoration Company we pride ourselves on helping homeowners. We are committed to integrity, the delivery of service excellence and the highest quality of workmanship.

Unfortunately, not everyone in this business holds the same standards as us. Far too often we see people being taken advantage of by sham companies. Whenever we see one of these we want to try and help our clients not fall for those scams. The most important thing you can do when choosing a roofing company in Chicago is to DO YOUR RESEARCH.

Check out their credentials, ask to see their previous work, and see what other people have said about them. Another tell-tale sign is to see how long they have been established in your area. If they are brand new and have no ties to the area it is easier for them to fall off the map should the want to.

At NRC we are licensed, bonded, insured, and locally owned we are happy to prove our commitment to integrity so you can avoid scams like this.

(KMOV.com) – Police are investigating after a woman says two men showed up to her home ready to replace her roof, but she never called for them.

Peggy Manternach filed a report with St. Peters Police Department that states she would have paid thousands of dollars for a roof she didn’t need.

Manternach’s roof is about five years old with a 25-year warranty and no leaks.

Last October, a representative from “American Dream Home Improvement” offered to inspect her roof.

The representative said she did need a new roof, but Manternach wasn’t buying it. kmov.com
